This role will report to the CEO and will&nbsp; work cross-functionally with department heads. As Head of Finance, you will play an integral role in&nbsp; overall company strategy as well as be responsible for managing, developing, and growing the finance&nbsp; function at Amplify. Your responsibilities will include strategic finance, FP&amp;A, defining and tracking key metrics for the executive team, analytics, budgeting, cross functional collaboration and execution, and managing company financial targets. The Head of Finance will meet the following&nbsp; requirements:&nbsp;• 5+ years relevant experience in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., CFO)• 10+ years relevant experience in high growth startup environment• Background in fast-growing tech companies, ideally in insurance, finance, or consumer tech&nbsp;• BS or MBA degree; CPA preferred (not required)&nbsp;• Strong private equity background, with a preference for a strategy and operations&nbsp; background preferred (not required)&nbsp;• Proficient in creating GAAP-compliant financial statements; experience with auditors&nbsp; preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;• Experience with insurance Statutory and GAAP rules, financial reporting preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;• Significant experience owning and operating financial models for entire companies or large&nbsp; portfolios&nbsp;&nbsp;• Proven success in building and scaling finance organizations, including hiring, systems, and&nbsp; controls&nbsp;&nbsp;• Ability to constructively challenge the executive team and Board of Directors on strategic&nbsp; decisions&nbsp;• Operational focus with a track record of promoting financial metrics and standardizing&nbsp; data and processes&nbsp;&nbsp;• Established external networks with a track record of capital raising&nbsp;&nbsp;• Experience in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic financial&nbsp; models&nbsp;&nbsp;• Proven ability as a "talent magnet" in recruiting and developing finance professionals and&nbsp; high-performing teams&nbsp;&nbsp;• Effective communication with all levels of the organization, including board members and&nbsp; senior executives&nbsp;&nbsp;• Meticulous attention to detail in financial modeling; comfortable with finance and&nbsp; accounting software&nbsp;&nbsp;• Strong quantitative and analytical skills&nbsp;&nbsp;• Leadership in VC fundraising rounds and navigating growth stages to pre/post-IPO&nbsp; • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools&nbsp; Culture Fit &amp; Impact&nbsp;• A demonstrated passion for the company and mission&nbsp;• A strong sense of ownership and motivation, with a demonstrated commitment to the&nbsp; values of quality and continuous improvement&nbsp;• A collaborative, humble, high-performance approach that embraces Amplify’s commitment&nbsp; to a team-oriented mentality&nbsp;• Impeccable integrity and high ethical standards combined with well-developed discipline,&nbsp; owns mistakes and promptly addresses them&nbsp;• Empathy, humility, eagerness to listen, capacity to improve morale, and a desire to grow as&nbsp; a leader&nbsp;• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and agile operating environment with high levels of&nbsp; ambiguity and stress&nbsp; Amplify is an equal opportunity employer.
